Staff Extensions, Direct Dials and Voicemail

Core to any business are its staff; to help them TigerPBX provides an extensive set of easy-to-use features such as voicemail that can be accessed via email or any phone in the world, call transfering, recording, placing calls on hold any many, many more. Staff can work at home, or abroad and still have complete access to the system as if they were in the office. Important calls never again need to be missed.

Interactive Voice Menus

The traditional entry point into a company phone system (“Press 1 to speak to Sales, 2 to speak to accounts, etc”) is fully supported in TigerPBX. Offering unlimited capacity to upload custom voice prompts and to route calls to any extension or telephone number globally, including to other voice menus, TigerPBX allows businesses to operate smoothly with minimum intervention.

Huntgroups and Call Queues

By grouping users into Huntgroups, calls can be targeted to group of users as opposed to individuals, providing a more eff ective routing for calls - if one member is currently on the phone the next in line with automatically receive the call.

In small businesses staff often have overlapping roles and for this reason TigerPBX allows staff to be in multiple groups at once. The system also supports inline voice messages, such as the length of time a caller is likely to be in a queue, music on hold and other periodic announcements as required.

Conference Channels and Calling

Efficient use of time is essential and utilising conference calling is an excellent method to improve efficiency and reduce overheads. TigerPBX supports unlimited conference calls, it can secure conferences with a PIN number and can even record conferences for listening at a later date

Traditional Telephony Support

TigerPBX was designed from the outset to integrate seamlessly with traditional telephone networks. To interface with telephone networks TigerPBX has complete support for the full range of hardware from both Digium® and Sangom® allowing for a huge array of configurations, supporting from 1 to 256 incoming lines concurrently. TigerPBX supports all standard digital or analogue phone signalling methods (PRI, BRI, Analogue).

Voice Over IP Support

Configuring TigerPBX to support VoIP providers for inbound and outbound calling could not be easier. The system supports unlimited numbers of providers, quality of service and comprehensive VoIP security. TigerPBX supports both SIP and the IAX2 protocols for integrating with VoIP Providers.

Advanced Call Routing

The ability to specifiy how a call should be routed is essential. TigerPBX has a comprehensive set of tools to manage call routing. Many of us will have pressed 9 to get an outside line in the past, consider now pressing 8 to use a VoIP line, 9 to use a traditional line, 7 to use an UK number, 6 to use a us number, 5 to disable call recording, the options are limitless.

TigerPBX supports the concept of line groups, perhaps you have 2 traditional analogue lines, 1 line that you normally use for FAX, and a VoIP line used for international calls, by logically combining the lines the facility exists to use the traditional lines by default however if both are in use or out of order then the FAX or VoIP lines can be automatically used. Line Groups are a huge asset to businesses and can be expanded to utilise any number and combination of digital, analgoue of VoIP lines, expanding limits and providing seemless redundancy.

Intuitive Web Based Administration

TigerPBX is fully configured via the TigerGUI web based administration platform, meaning users, phones, conferences and all other features can be configured and managed as required in seconds.

There is no need for additional techincal staff , but if present, technical staff can be left to focus on the more important areas of the business.
